Fort Lauderdale Offshore Fishing Charters

Fort Lauderdale’s Highest Rated Offshore Fishing

No matter what you call it—offshore, deep sea, reef, or nearshore—this is the most versatile Fort Lauderdale offshore fishing charter on the menu. These 4–6 hour trips are designed to give you options. We’ll start by targeting migratory pelagic species, and if the bites slow, we can swing inshore of the blue water to fish the reef and wrecks for bottom species.

Instead of locking you into one single plan, this trip lets Captain Matt adjust in real time based on conditions, current, and what’s biting.

Book a Trip

On a typical Fort Lauderdale offshore fishing trip, we’ll start by looking for migratory pelagics, including:

  • Mahi mahi

  • Blackfin tuna

  • Wahoo

  • Sailfish

If that bite is slow or conditions aren’t ideal, we can slide back toward the reef and wrecks to target bottom and structure-oriented fish such as:

  • Snapper

  • Grouper

  • Amberjack

  • African pompano

  • And other seasonal species

This ability to switch between pelagics and reef fishing is what makes this offshore charter such a solid all-around option. While live bait fishing for all of these species as it is a fan favorite, we always have the option to run offshore and troll a weedline or the edge of the continental shelf for large snapper and grouper.
